PC #554: ♥ birds – The Netherlands

For some reason, I’m not getting any card from my pals these days. Hmm.. Anyway, I’ll be posting the last card for the day, and it’s an awesome surprise from Gerda (gerdaboot)! She wrote really interesting things about her and the place she lives in. I know Holland to be very colorful, and would love to see it someday, especially the Garden of Europe – the Keukenhof or “kitchen’s garden”. It is the world’s largest flower garden with more than 1 million bulbs, according to Gerda. Tulips and hyacinths are some of the flowers one will find there.
The card doesn’t show the flower garden, but I love it nevertheless! One can actually make a story about it.
Oh, not only a postcard but several used stamps! Thanks to Gerda!
PC #553: Chinese art

Wee, a taste of Chinese art on this card! It’s from fengmeixia. Red, of course, is a lucky color to Chinese.
I’ll be working really soon! So excited and so ready to memorize mixed Chinese and Filipino names.

Awesome stamps used! Yey~!
PC #552: Budapest – Hungary

A nice multiview card of Budapest, the largest and capital city of Hungary, from Andi. It shows the city’s highlights: the lion guarding the Chain Bridge, the Parliament Building, the Heroes’ Square, the Fisherman’s Bastion, among others.

Nice stamp. Thanks, Andi!
PC #551: Tamsui Church, Taipei – Taiwan

This nice building is the Chapel of Presbyterian and the earliest church in the northern Taiwan. Hong-Yi (kakoui) wrote: “It (the church) was built in 1932. It’s one of the national historic monuments in Taiwan.”

Stamp shows the Thermistis taiwanensis or longhorn beetle:
