Welcome to the very first marine theme park in the country: the Manila Ocean Park! I went with my organization, the UP DOST Scholars’ Association, to the park last 2009 in an outreach activity called the Sponsor-A-Kid (SA Kid). We treat 30 kids from an underprivileged area in Manila to a fun-filled and scientific excursion to Manila Zoo and the Manila Ocean Park.
