Keychains #13, #14 and #15: The Philippines

While most countries offer metallic keychains, you will find lots of keychains from the Philippines which are made of wood. It’s interesting to collect ones which are manually crafted and designed.

Here’s one of the water buffalo or carabao (kalabaw in Tagalog). It’s our national animal, as the Philippines is mostly agricultural. The kalabaw is a big, big help in plowing the fields.

The next two keychains were given to me by my younger sister Cherry for a Christmas present. The first one is a surfing board. We have lots of nice beaches, some of which are suitable for surfing. The second one is made of plastic and it shows underwater images.
