A picturesque card of Texel from my dear friend, Lisanne.
Texel is a municipality and an island in the Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. It is the biggest and most populated of the Frisian Islands in the Wadden Sea, and also the westernmost of this archipelago, which extends to Denmark. -Wikipedia
Lots of sheep and lamb in the place, according to Lisanne. Makes me remember my mom’s hometown province, the Palm State of Quezon. Palm State because of the many coconut trees! I was also able to visit the place last month. Well, I’ve seen some sheep here, but I know they are not native to my country. But we do have lots of goats, cows, water buffaloes (carabaos), and many other farmy animals.
Thank you, Lisanne, and have a safe trip to the UK next month! 🙂
By the way, the super ferry you see on the card is TESO, a ferry service between the island of Texel and Den Helder.
Thanks again, Lisanne, for the nice card, stamp, and cute animal stickers. 🙂
