PC #247: Augsburg – Germany

A neatly designed multiview card of one of the oldest and most prosperous cities in Germany. On the card are the following: the Town Hall built in the 1620s in Renaissance style standing side by side with the Perlachturm, a 70meter tall bell tower; the Fuggerei, the world’s oldest housing complex still in use (it’s really nice, some of the houses are covered with plants); the Cathedral dedicated to the Virgin Mary; a statue of the Roman god Mercury with his winged helmet and serpent staff which symbolize peace and happiness; and some other attractions.

Many thanks to Doris! Indeed, Deutschland ist schön 😉 And here are the nice stamps used. I particularly like the commemorative stamp of the 125 Jahre Automobil in Germany.
