Two awesome cards from my friend, Babsy. 😉
1. Vienna Rathouse/Town Hall: Wow, such majestic lights. The building was designed by Friedrich von Schmidt and it was built between 1872 and 1883.
As always, the card was matched with fantastic stamps. Yay! So we have here Sisi, the famous Empress with her stunning diamond stars (hair clips) designed by once court jeweller Rozet and Fischmeister; akelei, an ornamental plant; and the Schönbrunn Palace, a UNESCO site.
2. Austrian Parliament Building: The structure was designed by Theophil Edvard Hansen with a Greek touch. The Athena fountain in front of the building is one of the famous tourist attractions in Vienna. Hmm.. why Athena? Why not Eros? *ggg* Just kidding.
Awesome stamps used! I particularly like the train ones! Thank you so much, Babsy! 🙂
