PC #365: Beach hut – Germany

Annoyed by the post office staff. This card arrived here last May 2, but I got it only last week. Bet they’ve put this in the wrong box. >.< Anyways, I like this blue and green card which features a beach hut on the Greensward near Heiligenhafen in Germany. The waters in the background is the Baltic Sea. My friend Friederike wrote, “The roof is made of straw called ‘Reet’… It’s very typical for Northern Germany.” Oh gosh, I really have this inner thirst for knowledge and experience of foreign places and cultures.

Beautiful stamps used. Plus, my friend thoughtfully included an old stamp of the former DDR (East Germany). Awesome!
