A fantastic card showing the Bovbjerg lighthouse in Jutland from my dear pal, Christina. 🙂 The lighthouse was first lit in 1877, and from then on became important in sea navigation.

A wonderful card from my pal, Christina! She’s helping me learn more Danish thru postcards! I still don’t know why I’m learning dansk. Oh well. XD
On the card are images related to the island of Fanø in the Wadden Sea southwest of Denmark. It is a holiday spot especially for the Danes, and is famous for its wildlife, the beaches and beautiful houses.

A beautiful illustrated map card of the northernmost state of Germany from Christina! Schleswig-Holstein’s capital city is Kiel, and their motto is Up ewich ungedeelt (“Forever undivided”).
