PC #558: Lali Card 6 from Germany

I so love lali cards, and I so love and miss Tami. 😦 We also need to do a lot of catching up. Life.. But it was nice to hear that she has moved back to her parents’. It’s really difficult to live far from one’s family.

It was thoughtful of her to send me my 6th Lali card. Up to now, I can’t find the little bear which stole the bees’ honey. Can you help me?

Beautiful stamps! All thanks to Tami 😉

And oh, before starting my job last April, I was about to send cards for my pals. Failing to do so is something I really regret. Now everything is outdated. I hope it still isn’t late to send these. 😉

PC #539: Lali Card 5 from Germany

A big bunch of thanks to Tami for sharing this super awesome lali card! My fifth lali! Yey! And the magic question: Zwei Tiere haben den falschen Partner gefunden? Welche? My sister Cherry immediately pointed out the answer. They’re the lamb.. and the poodle! Hehehe.

How I wish me and him.. are perfect for each other. XD

Just one more card and I’ll be done posting all I have here. Anyway, here are the wonderful stamps from Tami!

PC #447: Meet-up Card from Germany

I watched an American film last night, starring Adam Sandler. I first met him in the film called ’50 First Dates‘ (which was really awesome!). Well, the film I saw last night was entitled ‘Click’ and I thought it was mushy at first. There’s this guy named Mike (Adam S.) who’s so workaholic that sometimes he neglects his promises to his family. He wanted to make his life easier, so he went to a store and bought this magical universal remote control, which has the capabilities of fast-forwarding one’s life. In short, the remote takes control of everything, including real people and real scenarios. Well, apparently the movie made me cry in the end. Lol. I thought it was mushy, but then.. I’d suggest my sister watch it! You should too. XD

Anyways, the card you’re seeing in this entry is from my thoughtful friend, Tami. The card contains signatures of Postcrossers present at the 2nd International Weekend Meet-up in Bielefeld, Germany last November 24-27, 2011.

Of course, the kid on the card is Asian. I’m guessing she’s Cambodian? XD

Beauatiful stamp used. Thanks to Tami :-))

And of course, this post will not be complete without the trailer of the movie Click!

PC #436: Berlin – Germany

Happy 2012! Yes, it’s the Chinese Year of the Dragon.. but of course, it will be best described as another Year of Our Lord. Glad I was able to spend it with my family. We went to the Church, and then to the mall to watch a film entitled “My House Husband, Ikaw na!” starring Judy Ann Santos, Ryan Agoncillo, and Eugene Domingo. And tonight, we drank some wine while watching “Saw”, a horror movie. Too bad only my sister Peps and I were left to finish the film. XD

Anyways, I’m seeing busier days ahead (which is better than wasting my time trying to get somebody’s attention). That would mean lesser time to post cards here. But I’ll try to post every single card I receive. Still one of my simple joys, and one of my favorite past times.

So here’s one from Tami, a card featuring beautiful Berlin at night.

Berlin

Berlin, according to folk etymology, came from the German word Bär, meaning “bear”. But others say it is probable that the name came from  a Slavic source, Old Polabian berl- or birl-, meaning  “swamp”. The city is located on low, marshy ground along the River Spree.

Beautiful stamp of Romania used, but it was issued in Germany:

PC #396: Bad Soden-Salmünster – Germany

Here’s another nice card from Tami. It shows some famous spots in the town of Bad Soden-Salmünster in Hesse, Germany. Aw.. I remember my first German snailmail pal.. Katrin. I wonder what has happened to her.. She just wrote to me once and never replied since then. She lives in this town. :((

Bad Soden-Salmünster

Nevertheless, I’m happy to have received this card from Tami and to hear from her. ♥

PC #395: Malta map card

Wow, the Puerto Princesa Underground River (the longest navigable underground river in the world) is one of the provisional 7 New Wonders of Nature! Hope it’ll make it til next year during the official announcement. So happy to live in PH. ♥

Anyways, my friend Tami recently visited the island of Malta and thoughtfully sent me this card! Awesome, it looks really nice! Malta became a new member of the European Union on May 1, 2004.

Malta

This is my first card from there. Thanks to Tami ♥
